We were so grateful to the hotel, they could not have taken more trouble to make our stay more enjoyable. The sign saying ". Be Kind" beside the entrance, was certainly the way the hotel worked. It is always when there is a problem that you really discover how a hotel really tries, and we were so touched by the trouble the hotel took. The little cottage we had was gorgeous, with a view of Mount Etna. The staff, warm friendly, ever ready to advise and tell you were to go when you ventured out of the paradise hidden away in the vineyards. The Restaurent Produced excellent food, home grown wine, all very good, although not very cheap. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Above all there is a fabulous feeling of peace,

Although we enjoyed the resort our accommodation was only average.The bed was very hard and we were very disappointed that in very hot conditions i.e mid 30 temperatures,the air conditioning in our room had been swithched off externally and therefore our attempts during the night to cool down our room were in vain,It wasn't until the next morning when we raised the matter with reception we were told there was a blockage with the system however we then observed the staff going to an outside pump room and swithching our unit on.During the days our unit was switched off by management and only put back on when we requested each late afternoon when we arrived back from sightseeing.This obviously meant that our room was barely cool by the time we went to bed.We felt it was very unfortunate that a four star facility was so miserly with the air conditioning during a heat wave.

Good and friendly. Food good. Need facilities for cooling drinks

Fantastic service Very good ambience. We had a garden bungalow with garden view and spa. Everything well designed and kept with good taste..although the jacuzzi totally mismatch,it destroyed totally the nice bungalow area.SO..please advise to the hotel designers to have it integreted better in the scene..either by better coverage or lower it ...? Then I will it +++++++ stars
