Wunderschönes Anwesen, sehr gut und persönlich geführt, die Leute sind außerordentlich freundlich, die Zimmer sehr schön und stimmungsvoll, der Garten ist traumhaft, es ist herrlich ruhig, die Ausblicke sind grandios (auf die Tempel) und das Essen ist absolut rekordverdächtig. Wir werden garantiert wiederkommen!!!!!

Un très beau jardin calme et apaisant laissant découvrir une vue magnifique sur l'Etna enneigé. Une partie encore en travaux nous fait imaginer la naissance d'un lieu magique. Une piscine extérieure, une vraie ! de très grande taille non chauffée où nous nous sommes baignés. Un accueil chaleureux. Le restaurant d'un style un peu rustique reste de grande classe. La cheminée avec une certaine majesté, toujours allumée ou presque, confère à l'endroit une ambiance chaleureuse. Le vin non bu, vous est gardé pour le lendemain. Sans aucun doute, la cuisine est Sicilienne simple, bien faite et délicieuse. Le personnel est adorable. Notre chambre ? une suite avec terrasse privative et salon. Climatisation. La propreté est là. Seul bémol, des équipements un peu surannés mais fonctionnels. Les finitions laissent à désirer à l'encontre des standards internationaux. Mais c'est aussi cela qui confère à ce lieu tout son charme où nous avons passé un doux moment, agréable et reposant. Merci à toute l'équipe. Sinceramente grazie a tutta la squadra. Christophe.

Preis Leistung überhaupt nicht gerechtfertigt. Nie wieder. Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind schön der Rest eine Katastrophe. Teilweise so hochnäsiges Personal das man sich nicht als Gast wohl fühlte sonder eher unerwünscht.Pool wasser trüb , mit Chlor versucht das dreckige Wasser zu überdecken, bis wir was gesagt haben, plötzlich war frisches Wasser drin. Im PRIVAT Strand Müll. Frühstück war das allerschlimmste 4 Sterne, 2 tische nur süßes, am ersten Tag gab es noch Brötchen und gekochtes Ei, mit vertrockneten Käse und ein paar Scheiben Salami, danach nur noch Toast mit trockenem Käse und ein bisschen Schinken und wenn du später dran warst dann nur noch Toast mit butter. Auswahl am Abendessen, 1 Vorspeise 2 Pasta 2 Hauptgerichte und total überteuert.

The only good point about this hotel is its ideal position in the middle of the old city. Beside that, absolutely no value for money. We paid for a Superior Room and: room too small, dirty chairs and table on the balcony (= not useable), wi-fi not working, solarium not accessible. Careful: the access to the so called "swimming pool" is 25€/pax extra! On top of all that, the hotel manager showed no sympathy when we said that, due to a car accident, we would have arrived one night later. She did not even asked if we were OK and need something; she just wanted the night paid! What if we were hospitalised or dead in the accident? A 4 stars should imply a certain level of hosptality and service as well.
