Sehr gute Lage, ganz Ortigia zu Fuß erkundbar. Piero war ein sehr aufmerksamer, jederzeit erreichbarer Gastgeber. Er arrangierte auch eine Garage vis a vis vom Hotel ( 25€ p.d. ), absolut wichtig da sonst die Innenstadt gesperrt ist. Zimmer neu und groß, gute schallisolierte Fenster. In der Nacht sehr ruhig. Die schönsten Zimmer gehen zum Meer, allerdings verläuft auch dort eine Strasse, in der Nacht aber kaum befahren.

the hotel is expensive for why it offers and quite noisy as it's in from to the main road and there was a constant noise of motorbikes.

Un endroit incroyable où le temps s arrête. Un hôtel de charme que nous avons bcp aimé. Une décoration raffinée, un cadre magnifique et des petits déjeuners délicieux, avec des confitures. Gâteaux, pain et fromage blanc...maison. Nous avions le sentiment d être chez nous. Des hôtes discrets et très sympathiques.

This is a wonderfully sited hotel with really lovely staff (we would like to praise Carmela and Carmelo but they stand for all the others in their friendly helpfulness). The food was superb. The service excellent. The decor and ambiance very pleasant. We missed having a more intimate lounge where guests might have met each other more easily. The white plastic chairs on our balcony need fixing as the broken plastic strips can scratch and even cut they are so sharp. More books and magazines would have been good. But these are minor points and we would warmly recommend the hotel. The prices were very reasonable.
