what a gem hotel carmine is. so charming with the most wonderful breakfast. the old building is beautifully renovated and extremely inviting and comfortable. i would suggest getting directions before you go as it was hard to find in spite of all the signs.

Très bel hôtel, bien situé, avec un cadre magnifique donnant sur Syracuse. La plage est parfaite, la chambre très bien ainsi que le personnel toujours à l'écoute. Nous recommandons vraiment cet hôtel.

We were staying in the appartment in the adjacent building with two bedrooms/living room/big terrace. Two comments: when booking it was not entirely clear that we would not be staying in the villa itself (as shown in the promo Picture), but in the adjacent building. Secondly, although we stayed in the "appartment" there were no evem basic kitchen utensils, wine glasses and terrace was lacking furniture, so we were not able to fully enjoy our stay. However, the level of hospitality of the receptionist was excellent and she did what she could to make our stay comfortable.
