A gorgeous location but a disappointing restaurant and far too many parties at the premises disturbing our stay. Reception staf not welcoming. Beds for the kids deplorable quality. Great housekeeping staff and a clean resort. Good functioning airco.

Beautiful apartments of the highest quality and cleanliness in a superb position overlooking both the bay and Mount Etna. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of Taormina, the apartments enjoy a very privileged, quiet location with spectacular views. We received a warm welcome on arrival from Sig. Fabbiano and Barbara, whom we found extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable throughout our stay. The swimming pool and sun terrace overlooking the sea were perfect for relaxing by at any time of the day.

Borgo Averia is about 10 km from Noto in a rural wilderness which has bucket loads of charm yet restricts you in your options. The views and swimming pool are magnificient; the accomodation is spacious but in the minimalist, slightly sombre style. In terms of food we felt a bit disappointed, despite the impressive setting. There are remarkable ruins all over the place.
