Luxury hotels and resorts

L'hôtel se présente comme un hôtel de luxe, mais n'en a pas les prestations. Personne pour réceptionner les bagages à l'arrivée. Accueil froid, peu cordiale, et peu arrangeant. Information importante qui n'est mentionnée nulle part dans la présentation de l'hôtel : une ligne de train se trouve à coté de l'établissement, il y a donc un bruit de passage toutes les 15 minutes environ. Service à revoir, notamment au petit-déjeuner : attente 50 minutes avant d'être servi, beaucoup trop long. Dommage, car le lieu est très beau, la chambre confortable et spacieuse. Restaurant étoilé merveilleux. Spa très agréable, et massage d'excellente qualité. Mention spéciale au barman de la piscine qui a su rendre notre séjour agréable malgré les désagréments mentionnés plus haut. La prestation générale n'est pas à la hauteur du prix.

Our stay at the Il Podere was most enjoyable. It is a fabulous hotel which we will recommend to friends. The only improvement I can think of would be if you could arrange for the purchase of bar snacks in the afternoon, as the time between breakfast and dinner (8pm) is very long. In England we eat much earlier than 8pm and, with a child, it is not easy to wait from breakfast to dinner.

A grand lit instead of two seperate beds, which are not even fixed, would have been more appropriate.
