Luxury hotels and resorts

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur mer et lits jumeaux.La chambre qui nous a été présentée comme étant la seule ayant des lits jumeaux était sans vue sur mer,sombre, sans fenêtre et pas digne d'un 4* On nous a proposé un upgrade très bien(G5)mais avec supplément de 100€ pour la semaine. Inattendu ! Nous sommes contents de notre séjour.

Warm welcome from Mario, lovely room, issues with the air conditioning were addressed and sorted. Loved the pool area , great place to have breakfast. The old refectory very beautiful too. Lovely setting altogether. If I could offer ideas about improvement it would that the evening menu was more varied and tradionally cooked Sicilian food. . The lovely family running the hotel did vary the menu as we stayed so long. Perhaps posting a menu each day and getting guests to book a table each day? More outside chairs and tables in communal areas. Outside the refectory would be perfect for an aperitif and on the grass below the pool to sit and read. Great two weeks though. Very relaxing, lovely family run place.....great Alveria beers too....

The inn was just beautiful and the room/facility was excellent. However, the owner made us feel less than welcome. After arriving our first for our first of two nights, whiling we were having a glass of wine and going over the place, Federico tells us that we are the only people in the place, that at the time of our booking several others were inquiring but never ended up booking. He then tells us (less than 20 minutes in the inn after driving from Palermo, that if we didn't want to spend the second night it would be ok with him because he didn't want to spend the time out there!!!

Es realmente un lugar impresionante. La comida y la amabilidad espectaculares. Volveremos.
