Luxury hotels and resorts

We were a family with 3 children, a bed was not ready during our stay, and it was not made afterwards. But we paid for 5 people. We did not receive any explanations regarding the breakfast times and for the pool towels. Pool water was dirty. The restaurant was very good and the places are beautiful.

We very much enjoyed our stay but with a few reservations: We felt that although the decor was very stylish everywhere and had been carried out with extremely good taste we felt it was at the expense of comfort at times eg no comfortable places to sit outside our room area and we felt some seating areas outside would have been nice (there was one area near the pool with sofas) No sunbeds around the pool (which was closed) even though it was very early season we felt that it would have been nice to lounge by the pool. We felt that an area for sitting inside to have a drink/read a book etc ie a bar or lounge area would have been nice. We had a very large superior room which could easily have had a sofa or comfortable chairs in it but didnt. Having said all that, the restaurant and food were excellent and everyone was very helpful and friendly if slightly amateurist (eg ran out of bread at breakfast by nine am!!)The location was beautiful and generallly we feel that with a few more touches to make the place more comfortable to match the beautiful style of the place it would be really excellent.

A delightful place to stay, which I would happily recommend to those who don't mind lots of steps. The facilities and views are superb. I think it would be helpful to provide a small starter pack on arrival....it could be very late in the evening, and some water, the ability to make tea or coffee and some basics , eg biscuits, toast, would be very useful. The personnel on site are helpful , and always available. I think a simple one page summary of practicalities eg location of supermarket, disposal of rubbish, a short restaurant listing, a map of Taormina, and such, would help residents greatly. Would I stay there again..........without a doubt. I look forward to returning to Luxury residence TAORMINA. K Tobin , Dublin

This was a thoroughly enjoyable stay at a well appointed and very comfortable accommodation with fantastic views just a short walking distance from the centre of Taormina. We returned very relaxed and happy with our fortnight and would certainly consider another stay there.
