Calme et plein de charme. Idéal pour visiter Taormine et ses environs sans être au coeur de la foule et du trafic de l'été. Voiture indispensable. Piscine de rêve dans un magnifique jardin. Plage de galets mais sympa pour un petit plongeon. Excellent service, personnel très sympathique. Mais attention chambre qui ne bénéficie pas du confort moderne (salle de bain, rangements, clim, literie : plutôt moyens) car nous sommes dans du très ancien !

Bon séjour! Et belle architecture ... Seul petit bémol : l'accueil se fait en anglais, ce qui donne un petit côté international à l'hôtel, dommage pour ceux qui cherchent un peu d'"authenticité" ;-) Le cadre ne justifie pas non plus un tel prix (situé en zone résidentiel, avec immeubles en construction à côté).

The Luxury Residence at Taormina is of a truly exceptional standard . . .everything has been put together with ultimate comfort in mind. The location is fantastic, possibly not great for those with mobility problems but for even an average level of fitness, the short trot up to the lift to the top of the village was an enjoyable way of earning one's lunch or dinner! The layout of the apartments and the extent of the vast terraces offers maximum privacy whilst the beautiful solarium area offers the opportunity to be more sociable with fellow guests - children to play and interact etc. Francesco is a particularly accommodating host - he gives a 5 star and very individual and hands on service. Things like beds, furnishings, kitchen wear, hot water etc are all tip top here. If you are dawdling over a booking here . . .I'd say 'go for it' . . .you wont regret it. I work for a company who operates high end lettings in the UK - and I was more than impressed. We will be back.
