We had a very enjoyable stay at Zash for 4 nights in mid May. The hotel is a beautiful building in charming surroundings. It's clean, friendly and very relaxing. Breakfast was straightforward continental and whilst we found the lunch menu somewhat limited the quality of food itself was good throughout. Dinner was nothing short of exceptional and I would say enough to warrant a visit to Zash in itself. All of the staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The facilities including the pool were in good condition and well kept. There's a slight lack of things to do nearby and so renting a car is definitely advisable. That said, we did use the bikes to explore the nearby towns. We would like to thank the staff for making it a very pleasant stay. Should we return to Sicily then we will definitely visit Zash again. Nous avons une bonne expérience des hôtels français 3 et 4 étoiles avec un certain niveau d’exigence mais ici l'accueil, l'emplacement, la chambre vue sur la mer, le restaurant sont excellents, d'une grande propreté, aucun reproche n'est à faire. De plus c'est un petit hotel, on est pas du tout gêné par les autres. On aimerait en dire de même des hôtels français quatre étoiles et avoir des tarifs aussi avantageux. Nous avions opté pour un 4 étoiles espérant avoir le niveau d'un 2 ou 3 étoiles en France. Nous étions tellement bien que nous n'avons pas fait toutes les visites que nous avions prévues. Nous y retournerons des que possible. A recommander absolument, mais prendre obligatoirement une chambre avec vue sur la mer. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le diner 20€ seulement ( il faudrait débourser au moins le double en France ) très bonne cuisine locale à dégustér sur la terrasse avec vue imprenable sur la baie. attention si vous venez en voiture resservez votre emplacement ( 8 € par jour) ceux qui connaissent l'absence de stationnement à Taormina apprécierons.

We had a wonderful stay here, staff are all very helpful and Santo the waiter is a star! The place has been beautifully and tastefully renovated, retaining its fantastic character. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, we ate here most nights and food was simple, delicious home cooking. Breakfasts were in a light, airy room and were abundant, with fresh croissants, wholegrain breads and lots of summer fruits, but it would have been nice to eat outside, though shade would have to be provided for this. Location-wise it was a bit further (half an hour) from Siracusa than we'd have liked, but if you don't mind longish drives it is well-placed for the Baroque towns,good beaches and Etna. It's a brilliant place in itself to unwind and relax and has a great pool and a small spa as well - we had lovely massages. We hope to return!

es wäre von Vorteil, wenn einige Restaurant-Servicekräfte der deutschen Sprache mächtig wären, oder zumindest verstehen könnten. Ansonsten höfliche Bedienung.
