Warm welcome from Mario, lovely room, issues with the air conditioning were addressed and sorted. Loved the pool area , great place to have breakfast. The old refectory very beautiful too. Lovely setting altogether. If I could offer ideas about improvement it would that the evening menu was more varied and tradionally cooked Sicilian food. . The lovely family running the hotel did vary the menu as we stayed so long. Perhaps posting a menu each day and getting guests to book a table each day? More outside chairs and tables in communal areas. Outside the refectory would be perfect for an aperitif and on the grass below the pool to sit and read. Great two weeks though. Very relaxing, lovely family run place.....great Alveria beers too....

Liebes Donna Carmela-Team Wir haben uns im schönen Zimmer und der wunderschönen Hotelanlage sehr wohl gefühlt. Als kleiner Hinweis: Es wäre schön, wenn im Zimmer die Abfallsäcke regelmässig geleert, die Kaffeekapseln und die Dusch-/Haarwaschmittel sowie Body-Lotion regelmässig aufgefüllt worden wären. Dass man uns einen Sonnenschirm auf die Terrasse gebracht hat, haben wir ausserordentlich geschätzt. Sollte wir Sizilien wieder besuchen, fragen wir auf jeden Fall für ein Zimmer im Donna Carmela an. We had a wonderful family holiday at Verdura. The service was impeccable. Having our evening meals delivered to our terrace in the evening as perfect as thrm moment the food left the kitchen was one of the highlights. The range and quality of the foot on offer at Verdura is beyond compare. The staff in the kids club were relaxed and friendly so that our little tots were quickly set at ease. The style and decor of the resort makes it a pleasure to spend time there. We travelled with our twins aged 2 and our baby aged 1 and nothing was a problem for the staff- potties, kids gowns, slippers, toys and all that we asked for arrived within moments of any request. The food on offer for children met with smiling faces. We had a wonderful time. We look forward to returning. Miriam and Ronan
