My husband and I, together with two teenage children arrived at the beautiful Borgo del Carato and were impressed with the stunning accommodation and facilities. We stayed in an apartment and loved the breakfast poolside, the pool was absolutely wonderful, such a relaxing and enjoyable time. On one evening they were hosting a wedding reception poolside and we, together with other guests enjoyed a 3 course meal in the courtyard with beautiful wine and food. We loved going to visit Noto and Ortygia, such an easy drive. It had an element of a 'Tuscany' feel, wonderful location, facilities, host and so relaxing and enjoyable. Stunning place (very remote) and lovely room. Breakfast very good. Service was generally good but a bit lack lustre at times. Restaurant food lovely, but definitely needs more options, especially if staying more than two/three days.
