Luxury hotels and resorts

A quite haven in a wonderfully restored building.

I had visited the Raya in 2010. When we arrived we were upgraded which was very nice. Overall I feel the Hotel Raya is over trading on its reputation. The staff are excellent but the quality of the food and the environmental policies of the Raya are not good. For example the breakfast yogurt is in a plastic pot ( like you would buy in a supermarket) and the jams in little jars. Too much packaging. Also our towels were changed everyday. Not necessary if you want to save water. The quality to value is not correct. We spent 3 weeks in 10 different Hotels and the Raya was certainly not high on our lists and if we were returning to Panarea we would book an alternative.

Seul gros reproche: la connexion wifi gratuite 24h : le pop-up n'est pas toujours facile à trouver, en fonction des systèmes utilisés et il faut la renouveler tous les jours, c'est une contrainte qui n'existe pas dans d'autres resorts 5 étoiles. Dans la zone de tarification et de classe d'hôtel du VERDURA, la connexion doit être gratuite et permanente pour les clients. Restaurant ZAGARA bon un peu cher par rapport à la cuisine proposée, avec un service quelquefois un peu lent. Restaurant AMARE un peu décevant mais geste commercial du maitre d'hôtel, merci. Prévoir rideau de douche pour éviter d'éclabousser toute la salle de bains Mieux entretenir les vélos (gonflage des roues notamment)

Sensationelle Aussicht auf die Bucht von Gardini Naxos und den Ätna. Taormina ist leicht in 5 Minuten über den Lift des Parkhauses zu erreichen. Die Wege sind zwar steil und es sind auch einige Treppen zu überwinden, aber das hatten wir in Süditalien nicht anders erwartet. Das Apartment ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und auch in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Besonders danken möchten Herrn Fabbiano für seine nette und unaufdringliche Hilfe. Eine sehr empfehlenswerte Unterkunft für alle die sich gerne abseits des Mainstreams erholen wollen.
